As this alleged Tiger Woods affair has played out, surely you, like me, have heard numerous friends or significant others say something to the effect of, “How could he have cheated on his wife? She’s so gorgeous!” Yes, Elin Nordegren is a freaking blonde-haired Swedish former model and her turd husband allegedly still cheated on her. What I want to know is why we insist a woman’s beauty—which is highly subjective!—is some kind of barometer—which is highly shallow!—of whether or not her hubby will cheat.

Our Favorite ‘Biggest Loser’ Couples

The season finale of ‘The Biggest Loser’ had us rooting for everyone. (It’s difficult to choose “the best” when every contestant shed so many pounds. Luckily, the scale was impartial and chose Danny.) But even more heart-grabbing was the romance that Alexandra (voted off in week one) and Antoine (voted off in week two) found at the ranch. Disappearing: The Kindest Way To Break Up?

The end is rarely easy. And, God, can it be awkward. Personally, I don’t apply specifics for each gender on how to end a thing (a “thing” being anything that lasts a couple months or seven dates, give or take; ending a “relationship” is a whole other bag of misery). When it comes to the end, whether you’re a man dumping a woman, a woman dumping a man, or a gay dude dumping a gay dude, you want it to be as humane as possible. But which method of ending a “thing” is most humane? Let’s have a look, from least to most kind.
