Jon Gosselin Empties Kate’s Bank Account

What started out as some condescending name-calling (on her part), affairs with trashy women (on his), and angry interviews (a seemingly fun activity for both), has devolved into something we call overzealous use of the ex’s money (when we want to sound nice) or outright theft (when we don’t).
We refer, of course, to Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin, their messy separation, and the latest allegations of wrong-doing being made public. Specifically, Radar Online reports that Jon recently emptied all but $1000 from the joint bank account he shares with Kate.
How much money would that be? We don’t know the exact figures, but we do know it’s a lot. By Jon’s own admission on the Larry King Show on October 1, he made $1 million before taxes during the last season of Jon & Kate Plus 8, and $500,000 after. Jon & Kate & The $10 Million Dollar Divorce
Then, of course, there are all the profits from the couple’s side projects (books, public appearances, etc.), not to mention the presumed residuals from past seasons of the show and current DVD sales. 
Fortunately for the kids, Radar reports that another bank account set up for them has not been touched.
