When Celeb Love reported last month that Rosie O’Donnell and wife Kelli Carpenter were on the verge of breaking up, Rosie’s only statement on the issue was, “Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever.” However, on Friday, Rosie let a very crucial detail slip—she and Kelli have been living apart for two years.
Apparently, it took one pet psychic to do what throngs of reporters couldn’t: get a straight answer from Rosie on the state of her marriage. During a taping of SIRIUS XM’s Rosie Radio, animal psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick asked Rosie how she came to own her long-haired chihuahua. Rosie responded, “What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog.”
